As part of their strategy, the organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Controller CA/CPA to join their high performing team.
About the Role:
Reporting to the General Manger, you will be a part of the Senior Executive team and will assist in developing and implementing financial strategies for the company. You will be responsible for all administration and accounts issues, and will need to work closely with other senior managers in this regards. You will manage a small team of five people so the ability to lead, supervise, coach and train people are important qualities.
You will be responsible for preparing and interpreting financial and management accounts, forecasts, taxation and statutory returns, and presenting valuable recommendations to the Management team. Your operational responsibilities will be commercially driven to protect, manage and invest the organisations financial assets.
This appointment will appeal to a highly motivated Financial Controller with strong commercial acumen and demonstrated experience in reporting, costing and forecasting. You will have a solid understanding of financial, legal and general business issues and the ability to communicate financial information to internal personnel. Your presentation, interpersonal and leadership skills will be highly developed and help you connect with people and build relationships within this organisation.
Your Experience:
- CPA/CA qualification is required
- Previous experience as a Financial Controller
- Manufacturing business exposure
- Cost Accounting experience
- Exchange rate / Shipping / Purchasing
- Highly motivated
