WA Jobs up 25% for the Year

The year ended positively with regards to job advertisements across the main Perth job boards with a 26% increase to the year ended 30 June 2018. The year to June 2017 recorded a fairly steady result after being down approximately 30% during the middle of the recent economic downturn (refer below).
Meanwhile the SEEK job board continues to be on the rise with total advertisements back towards mid to late 2015 levels (see below). While the number of Sales roles posted at year end actually declined from the previous year there were some big increases:
- 47.51% – Trades
- 47.31% – IT&T
- 31.68% – Engineering
- 9.12 % – Accounting
- 9.08% – Health
