Accountant/ Financial Controller
- Our client is a privately-owned Australian business that specializes in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of electronic products in the building industry and are seeking a hands on Accountant/ Financial Controller to join their team .
About the Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Accountant/ Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the accounting function of the business including all reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Management of cash-flow
- Payroll including interpretation of multiple awards
- Financial accounting
- Management accounting
- Cost analysis
Skills and Experience:
- CPA/CA or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years experience in a similar "all-round" accounting position
- Experience in the building industry is desirable but not essential
- Experience implementing systems and/or setting up spreadsheets, systems and procedures will be highly regarded
