Accounts Payable & Payroll Assistant

Our client, a mining company in West Perth, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team. This permanent full-time role is essential for managing the company's accounts payable functions and assisting in ensuring smooth payroll operations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Liaising with HR and site managers to collate leave forms and reports
  • Assisting in responding to payroll and leave queries from employees
  • Serving as the contact point for the outsource payroll provider
  • Preparing payroll documentation for bi-monthly and monthly cycles
  • Processing Accounts Payable invoices and handling queries
  • Managing supplier payments and scheduling

What you'll need:

  • 2-3 years in a similar role
  • Must have Pronto system experience
  • Accounts Payable experience is essential
  • Strong analytical skills and well organised
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
