Bookkeeper

Our client is an established professional Accounting Firm that require a Bookkeeper at their offices in West Perth. This a full-time role however they are flexible with hours and days.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide bookkeeping services to clients within set time frames.
  • Ongoing update to AR processes and systems.
  • Staying within the scope of the engagements.
  • Working within the Bookkeeping team to move clients towards automation and efficiencies.
  • Ongoing bookkeeping work for clients as per the terms of engagement including -Reconciliation of Accounts, Wages, Creditors, Debtor Management Systems, BAS/IAS, Add on’s – i.e. Auto Entry, Ezzybills, Buildertrend. Organisation, prioritization and completion of assigned bookkeeping tasks.
  • Attend MYOB, Xero training courses and functions.
  • Ensuring bookkeeping reviews are completed within the allotted timeframe.

What you’ll need:

  • Strong experience in Xero.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with partners, consultants, clients and other staff members.
  • High level of organization and prioritization.
  • High level of time management and the ability to meet deadlines/follow through on tasks.
  • Technical knowledge of Xero and MYOB.
  • Technical knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable.
  • Some accounting knowledge.
  • Cultural contribution.
  • MYOB experience desirable.
