Communications Advisor

Our client is a globally recognised ASX listed mining exploration company located in West Perth. Due to Maternity leave they are looking for a Communications Advisor for a 12-month fixed term contract. This full time position will be working alongside the Communications Manager to provide organisation-wide support of marketing and communications services. As well as assisting with the execution of the communications strategy, liaising with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to maintain consistent messaging and branding.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintain company website
  • Create and manage social media content and digital platforms
  • Manage companywide templates and document formatting 
  • Assist in preparation of conferences and events
  • Management of stakeholder engagement register (Darzin)
  • Provide Executive Assistant administrative support

What you’ll need:

  • Approximately 3-5 years' experience in a marketing, public relations, journalism, or communications
  • Strong ability to perform on multiple platforms and tools to communicate important messages 
  • Innovative and able to adapt and re-prioritise at short notice 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with content management systems and campaign monitor platforms 
  • Previous experience in mining industry desirable
