Environmental Health Officer
- Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Health Officer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you’ll play a key role in promoting public health and environmental standards.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide high level professional and technical advice to members of the public stakeholders
- Assess technical reports, development applications with relevant legislation
- Investigate reports and complaints of unacceptable risk, nuisance or statutory offences
- Manage the administration of regulatory matters
- Maintain current knowledge of environmental health legislation and make recommendations
What you’ll need:
- Environmental Health Officer for a minimum of 3 years
- Must have strong knowledge of related legislation
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication
- Including negotiation and conflict management skills
- Experience in preparing detailed reports and correspondence
- Strong customer service skills and effective stakeholder management skills.
- Good research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated time management skills including the ability to meet deadlines
