Estimator - full time fixed term contract
- Our client is a privately owned and operated Australian company in the building and construction industry. Located in Floreat, they require a full time Estimator for a 6 - 9 month fixed term contract, commencing immediately.
What you’ll be doing:
- Analysis of drawings, specifications and contract scope
- Preparation of accurate quantity take-offs
- Supervision of 1 Estimator Assistant
- Requesting quotes from our suppliers
- Preparation of tender submissions, estimates and schedules for projects
- Building working relationships with our clients and suppliers
- Preparation of project handover packs
- Review of awarded projects contracts
- Cooperation with our seniors
- Lead estimator
- Operations management
- Contact with clients and manufacturers
- Logistic of deliveries / projects mobilisation
- Preparation of Progress Claims, site reports
- Revision of Quality Assurance documents
What you’ll need:
- Experience on estimating in Civil Engineering industry
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree
- Basic AutoCad
- A good understanding of engineering principles
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office Tools
- Ability to work independently and decision-making
