Financial Accountant

What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure accurate accounting services and compliance with accrual processes
- Manage daily cash and investments in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Prepare acquittal reports for funding providers and ensure tax compliance
- Oversee payroll functions to guarantee timely and accurate staff payments and superannuation contributions
- Lead the finance team in providing exceptional service and managing capital asset functions, including the asset register and valuations
What you’ll need:
- CA/CPA or equivalent qualification is essential.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in accounting principles
- Proven track record in managing and mentoring a small team effectively
- Strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail required
