What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensure accurate accounting services and compliance with accrual processes
  • Manage daily cash and investments in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Prepare acquittal reports for funding providers and ensure tax compliance
  • Oversee payroll functions to guarantee timely and accurate staff payments and superannuation contributions
  • Lead the finance team in providing exceptional service and managing capital asset functions, including the asset register and valuations

What you’ll need:

  • CA/CPA or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in accounting principles
  • Proven track record in managing and mentoring a small team effectively
  • Strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail required
