Industrial Sales Executive - Western Region
80000 - 100000Our client is a manufacturer and distribution business supporting the local, national and international markets in the marine and heavy-duty off-highway power transmissions area. They are also exclusive Pacific Region distributors of the best manufacturers of propulsion systems in the world. They now have an immediate requirement for a Sales Executive for the Western Region encompassing WA, SA and NT.
The position presents a fantastic opportunity to join a multinational business of close to 100 years of age that still holds its family values close and is evident in its feel and culture. The role will entail a regular travel aspect which will be extensive to begin with while introducing yourself to a well-established client base as well as establishing new relationships. This role will report directly to the Sales Manager - Pacific who is based in Brisbane and will rely on good support from the Eastern States offices. The overall scope of the role will be to prospect and nurture customer relationships leading to sales across the given region.
What you’ll be doing:
- Plan and implement calls to leading industry bodies
- Source opportunities to expand client network
- Maintain and manage a sufficient pipeline of opportunities
- Achieving realistic budgets with existing and new business
- Meet with industry resource groups for tenders / projects
- Hold meetings with potential clients at the display centre
- Produce quotes and following up new and existing customers
- CRM account is kept up to date for all sales activity
