Installation Technician
65000 - 80000Our client is a leading company in the audiovisual industry, seeking a skilled and experienced AV Installation Technician to join their team. This position provides the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most technically advanced audio-visual projects within Australia, with the ability to grow into specialised fields inclusive of project management, system programming, system design, sales management, audio design and operations management.
What you'll be doing:
- Installation of Audio-Visual cabling, brackets, and associated systems and racks
- Cable installation, termination, and testing
- Undertake all works documented in the A/V schematic, plan, and elevation design package
- Record and maintain relevant documentation pertaining to commissioning
- Completing documentation as requested (timesheets, site reports, etc.)
- Observe OHS standards, ensuring all work is completed in a safe manner
- Travel to regional and remote client sites when required
What you'll need:
- A basic knowledge of audiovisual and information communication technology
- Basic hand-tool and manual handling ability
- Valid drivers license
- Construction white card (can be provided for a suitable candidate)
- Experience in installing AV cabling and pathways
