Manager – Clinical Services/Senior Psychologist

Our client is a rapidly growing online mental wellbeing platform, based in Subiaco now searching for an experienced clinical team leader to lead our new clinical services team. Providing online & face to face psychological consultations & support. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of collaborative mental healthcare, while delivering integrated, holistic psychological support

What you’ll be doing:

This opportunity offers the combination of in-line supervision and management, as well as some direct client work. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the clinical practice and will have a case load of approximately 24 hours per week. You will aim to offer psychological services, counselling and assessments on our cutting edge digital platform in a warm, open and non-judgmental environment. This will enable us to continue to redefine the experience of therapy for our clinicians, clients and community. 

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of psychologists to provide excellent client experiences
  • Provide evidence-based, best practice and interventions for a broad range of mental health areas
  • Active in building, fostering and nurturing effective referrer relationships
  • Maintain a caseload that is flexible with work catered to your niche area
  • Oversee content and contribute to the development of new procedures
  • Support the technology team in the testing of the portal
  • Liaise and network with other allied health professionals to achieve positive client outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with management to maintain an amazing team culture

What you’ll need:

To be successful in the role you will require the following skills and attributes:

  • Specialist training, qualifications and experience in assessing and treating adults with mental health difficulties
  • Knowledge of early intervention for mental health and trauma-informed care and practice 
  • Experience in supervision and peer review relating to the development of clinical work practice including reflective practice
  • Experience in managing clinical risk
  • Experience in networking and stakeholder engagement 
  • You will be able to teach and support the professional development of psychologists
  • Ability to set the tone to create a collaborative and dynamic team culture where ideas flow
  • Demonstrated experience in building and managing teams 
  • Degree in Psychology and hold current AHPRA registration
  • Post Graduate qualification in business/leadership fields highly desirable
  • Minimum 5 years postgrad experience
  • Eligible for Medicare provider number
