Office and Purchasing Administrator

Our client prides itself on developing and providing customers with world class technology that allows for maintenance, research, operations and repairs to be conducted underwater and in water-based environments. Our client works with customers in Defence, Oceanographic, Hydrographic, Offshore diving and ROV communities in Local and International markets providing them with the latest knowledge and innovations in the industry. Based in Bibra Lake, our client is looking for an Office and Purchasing Administrator to join their growing team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Welcoming visitors and handling reception/switchboard duties
  • Assist with producing purchase orders
  • Stock picking, order processing and arranging couriers
  • Collection and distribution of mail
  • Handling invoicing, EFTPOS, cheques and relevant banking
  • Manage stocktake for the office and Perth Site as required
  • Coordinate onsite maintenance 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement company activities

What you’ll need:

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team 
  • Good written & oral communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask in a busy environment
  • Diploma in Business or Procurement desirable
  • Current Forklift Licence Desirable
