70000 - 90000Our client is currently looking for an experienced Senior AV Technician / Venue Technician to join their dynamic team. Specialising in diverse events from corporate gatherings to arts and arena projects, this role offers a chance to be part of a close-knit group of professionals.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensure a positive client experience throughout project lifecycles
- Set up and pack down event equipment, resolve technical issues
- Implement cutting-edge lighting solutions for enhanced event atmospheres
- Install, move, and modify audiovisual equipment, troubleshoot issues
- Manage large format switching systems for smooth transitions
- Take ownership of jobs, ensure compliance, maintain documentation
What you'll need:
- Mid-level to extensive events industry experience and show craft
- Proven leadership skills and a willingness to lead a team
- Highly creative with a strong eye for detail
- Strong knowledge of static, moving light, and LED fixtures
- Media Server and networking knowledge
- Work Health and Safety (WHS) knowledge and experience
